Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate II DG, double letter D, good margins all round, tied by a fine red Devonport Maltese Cross in a pinkish shade, on entire letter to Liskeard, with matching Devonport c.d.s. of 9 June 1840 on reverse, opening well for display, filing folds well clear of the adhesive and the entire with small small closed tear at foot, but a fine and attractive entire with a rare cancellation.
