x New Zealand 1864 (8 June) entire from Auckland "via Marseilles" to London, bearing 1864 watermark "nz" imperforate 6d. red-brown and 1864-67 watermark Star, perf. 12 1/2 2d. pale blue in combination with Great Britain 1d. red Stars, twice cancelled "1" tying the three stamps together with the G.B. 1d. additionally tied by large manuscript "8", showing circular-framed "more/to/pay" h.s. and, at left, light "deficient postage/fine" h.s. in red completed for "2d" and "6d" respectively and with the total of "8" deleted, the reverse with despatch and arrival (15.8) c.d.s.; filing creases crossing the 1d. and 2d. values, nevertheless a very rare and unusual franking.
