x Newfoundland 1857-64 Thick Machine-made Paper, Imperforate 8d. scarlet-vermilion, bisected diagonally, tied by oval grid on 1860 (23 May) entire ex the "Tucker" correspondence to Baltimore, showing "st johns newfoundland/paid" c.d.s. in red and "5/boston br pkt" datestamp; the entire with three vertical filing creases, all well clear of bisect.
