x Newfoundland 1857-64 Thick Machine-made Paper, Imperforate 4d. scarlet-vermilion with large margins on two sides, close to small on the others, neatly tied by barred oval on 1859 (1 Apr.) entire ex the "Tucker" correspondence to Baltimore, marked " pr mail via Halifax", showing light "st johns newfoundland/paid" c.d.s. in red overstruck ny "5/boston br pkt" datestamp (10.4); three light vertical filing creases all well clear of adhesive.
