x Canada 1868-90 Large Queen Issues 1868 Ottawa Printings, Thin Crisp Paper 3c. red-brown and 12 1/2c. bright blue, both tied by light "london/c.w." duplex on 1868 (7 Dec.) blue envelope to Ramsgate, marked "Via New York" and showing, on reverse, Hamilton (7.12) and arrival (20.12) datestamps; the envelope with small repair on reverse at lower right. A most attractive franking, being 1/2c. overpaid for the 15c. Cunard line rate.
