1897 50 Cents. Near-Gem Uncirculated. Delicate, iridescent patina sits atop the upper portion of the obverse and luster beams from the fully struck devices. Light scruffiness on Liberty´s cheek, which is seen on all but pristine examples, is the only impediment to the Gem designation.
