1812 50 Cents. AU. O-102, R.2. Evidence of friction shows on the highpoints, but does not seriously distort any of the design detail. Abrasions, while present, are at a minimum with light slidemarks in the left obverse fields that are consistent with the grade. The originality is increased by light gray coloration on the obverse while the reverse displays an infusion of golden accents. A breathtakingly original example that should garner fierce competition.
