1858-Ga JG 2 Escudos. NGC MS64. KM-380.3. One of the nicer examples existent for this date and mint. The surfaces are minimally abraded and the fields semi-prooflike. As is typical, the central devices are a bit weak. This same example sold at Heritage in September of 2007 for $3,795. The market for world material is undoubtedly stronger now.
