Italy. 1936-R 50 Lire, Vittorio Emanuele III. NGC MS65. KM-82. An exceedingly rare and desirable one year type. Only 790 minted. Set in bright yellow gold with surfaces that even under inspection remain abrasion-free. Slight evidence of handling, while trivial, limits an even loftier grade.
