Lebanon Postal History French Post Offices 1871 (20 Oct.) entire letter to France franked 1870-71 imperforate Bordeaux 40c. orange (2, with large margins, one showing portion of the adjoining stamp at left) tied by black Anchor cancellations, red boxed "paquebots/de la/mediterranee" additionally ties one stamp and with octagonal "beyrouth/paq. fr. x no. 2" alongside, transit and arrival markings on reverse, filing fold well clear af the adhesives; fine and rare.
