Egypt 1872-75 "Penasson" Issue 1875 (1 Mar.) envelope bearing 5pa. brown, 10pa. mauve, 20pa. blue, two single 1pi. rose-red and 2pi. chrome-yellow, each tied by "poste egiziane luxor" c.d.s., black boxed "pd" alongside, transit marks "poste khedevie egiziane siut 1/3/75", "poste egiziane alessandria 3/1/75" and British "alexandria b 7/3/75" c.d.s., addressed to New York with arrival mark (27/3) on front and red british credit hs."2 cents", tiny ink spot at top left, very fine and scarce five colour franking, only one other front known.
