x German States Brunswick 1852 1sgr. rose with good to large margins showing trace of adjoining stamp at top, neatly cancelled with "braunschweig" horseshoe datestamp, with a further strike alongside, on 1852 (5 Sept.) entire to Wernigersde; the adhesive a little faded though attractive.
