x Great Britain 1840 Two Pence Blue Plate 1 QC in a bright, mid-blue shade used with TE in a dark, steel-blue shade on 1840 (21 Oct.) large part wrapper to Edinburgh, both stamps with close to large or very large margins and tied by watery strikes of pale, brownish red Maltese Cross, the reverse showing faint boxed despatch datestamp (Dundee?) and arrival c.d.s.
