Victoria Covers and Cancellations 1870 (10 Sept.) double rate envelope (flap missing) from Melbourne "Via Marseilles" to London, bearing Laureated 10d. tied by duplex and showing a good strike of the "insufficiently paid/for brindisi route/deficient postage" h.s. without an amount shown and with manuscript "2/6" at left, possibly applied in error as the postage is correct for a double rate franking, arrival c.d.s.
