x Tasmania 1895 (14 Jan.) 1d. stationery card used from Hobart to New South Wales, cancelled by duplex and showing "post office/tasmanian international exhibition" triple-lined oval datestamp in red and showing, on reverse, printed exhibition scenes; corner crease by stamp impression. Very rare, only four covers are recorded with this datestamp, of which this is the latest recorded date. Photo Estimate £ 3,000-4,000 Note: This example is the only one on a piece of mail sent by a visitor to the Exhibition, and the only example on the official Exhibition postcard, the other three being on OPSO covers sent by members of the exhibition committee. The Exhibition datestamp is Tasmania´s, and one of Australia´s, earliest commemorative datestamps. The Second Tasmanian International Exhibition was held in Hobart from 15 November 1894 to 15 May 1895.
