St. Helena The Boer War Censor Cachets Type 9, "broad*bottom*camp" 1901 (14 and 17 Feb.) envelopes to the Cape, one bearing 1884-94 1d. cancelled by Oblong of broken bars (CNC.1a), the second bearing 1890-97 1d. cancelled with c.d.s., both showing Type 1 over-cancelled by the cachet with both strikes in violet, the former partially overstruck by despatch c.d.s.; both items with some stains and the former also with a horizontal crease which crosses the adhesive. Also two "1901" bogus Broadbottom Camp covers produced by a Dutch Company, probably as a publicity stunt with each bearing forged 2 1/2d. pair and double-ring censor cachet Estimate £ 140-180
