St. Helena The Boer War Censor Cachets Type 1, Circular "censor/prisoners of war" 1900 (9 May) envelope to the "St. Helena Guardian" newspaper in Jamestown, bearing 1890-97 1/2d. green vertical pair cancelled with Circle of thin bars with c.d.s. adjacent, fine cachet at left initialled "JHMB"; the envelope with a couple of tears at top though and unusual item of mail addressed locally and a very early date of use for this censors initials Estimate £ 100-120
