(2) sharing c.d.s. with fine Type 1 initialled "CDNS" below, the reverse with a very good strike of the "dead*wood*camp" cachet, 1901 (27 Apr.) envelope (light fold) from a P.O.W. to his wife at the Racecourse Concentration Camp for Boers, at Turfontein near Johannesburg, bearing 1884-94 1d. with part cork cancellation and showing c.d.s. and Type 1 initialled "EW", the reverse with a good strike of the "dead*wood*camp" cachet and part arrival c.d.s. (11.5), and 1902 (5 May) envelope from P.O.W. at Broadbottom camp to his wife or sister at Potchefstroom Women´s Camp No. 2, franked at 1d. and showing Type 1 cachet initialled "VA".
