British National Antarctic Expedition envelope from the First Relief Expedition and believed to have been written by Albert Armitage (Scott´s navigator), showing expedition crest in blue on flap and bearing Expedition vignette in indigo and New Zealand 1d. Universal each cancelled with Lyttelton squared-circle datestamp, the reverse with Christchurch (25.3) and Wimbledon (4.5) c.d.s.. A most attractive item from this famous expedition.
