Jamaica 1859 (25 Apr.) entire letter from Savannah-La-Mar to London, bearing wing-margin 6d. lilac lightly cancelled "A75" and with a fine strike of the "too late" h.s. (TL3) alongside and London Paid c.d.s. (1.6) below, the reverse with despatch and Kingston (27.4) c.d.s.; the contents including "mail not in yet", no doubt accounting for the delay, and 36 days in transit, confirming that Savannah-La-Mar mail missed the second fortnightly April packet. Few covers from Savannah-La-Mar recorded with single 6d. frankings and very rare with the Too Late handstamp. Photo Estimate £ 400-500
