No. 1 1883 (May) 1d. violet card from Little River to Geelong, cancelled with Barred Oval "175" and "down train/mg1" small octagon d.s. (the latest recorded date of use) and with despatch oval d.s. in lower left corner, 1885 (1 Apr.) envelope (opened-out and rebacked) to Caulfield, bearing 2d. lilac cancelled with superb "t.p.o./1" in oval of bars (second period of use) and showing, on reverse, "up train/mg1" small c.d.s., Melbourne and Caulfield c.d.s., and 1894 (2 Aug.) 1d. rose letter card (repaired spike hole) from Ballarat to Melbourne neatly cancelled with "up train/mg1" c.d.s.
