Victoria Travelling Post Offices The Ballarat Line Using Numbers 1 and 2 T.P.O. No. 1 1863 (14 Aug.) envelope to Melbourne, bearing Laureated 4d. rose cancelled with fine "up/travelling/post office/victoria/m.g.1" oval d.s., the reverse marked "Posted 11/40am" and therefore charged 6d. late fee for mail posted after 11am and showing oval-framed "more to pay" completed for "1/-", deleted and altered to "6d", arrival c.d.s. (14.8) in blue on reverse; a highly important cover, being the earliest recorded date of use on a cover.
