1879-80 Tender Essays and Proofs 1879 Perkins Bacon Tender for the 1d. Value Engraved die proofs for the outlines of a design, two impressions of the frame on different backgrounds on a single piece of paper (73x116mm.), the other of the frame and outline of the head on piece of paper (73x117mm.) with both lettered "D" and numbered "246", and an engraved die proof of a design as based on the previous items showing the Queen´s head with an ornate frame though without lettering or value, in black on white card (50x51mm.).
