Two Shillings 1867 (1 July) Watermark Spray of Rose Imprimaturs 2/- blue Plate 1, AB, marginal with current number "285", large part original gum with the stamp remaining unmounted; diagonal crease at top just crosses A square, and traces of gum creasing. Cat. £3,800 Estimate £ 800-1,000 provenance: Dr. Douglas Latto, October 1992 Note: Plate 1, as originally laid down, was out of square and registered on 5 April 1867. It was subsequently cut up, put together properly and re-registered on 5 July 1867. There are thus two imprimatur sheets
