Nine Pence 1862 (May) Watermark Emblems Stamps 9d. bistre, Plate 3 abnormal, JD with wing-margin, cancelled with a fine and neat strike of the Birmingham duplex; light vertical crease. This stamp is perfectly centred and of outstanding colour, though probably the finest example of this rarity. R.P.S. Certificate (1968).
