1847-54 Embossed Issues 1/- Green Covers 1851 (1 Dec.) entire letter from the Colonial Bank to Mexico, bearing 1/- green block of eight (4 originally folded over the edge of the letter and remain uncancelled) and single; just touched in two places with the other margins large to very large, the single is also with good margins, five stamps cancelled by London numerals with a fine strike of handstruck "6" rate mark and London despatch c.d.s. on flap. There is obviously a pressed horizontal filing crease which runs along the top of the used stamps. A fabulous and stunning cover and a magnificent showpiece from this well known correspondence Estimate £ 10,000-12,000
