1840 Two Pence Blue Plate 2 Covers 1842 (8 Oct.) large solicitor´s cover to Saxmundham bearing AB-BC block of four , well tied by black Maltese Crosses leaving the upper left stamp with a clear profile, the reverse with Hareston and arrival c.d.s. (9.10); typical folding creases. The block in a deep shade with large to very large margins all round, just showing part of the two adjoining stamps at left; the block has been removed from the cover and hinged back in place. An outstanding and desirable block, very rare used on cover. Cat. £28,000 for just the block Estimate £ 5,000-6,000
