Pre-Stamp Essays 1839 Treasury Competition Essays Aug.Godby: Wrapper bearing a pen and ink design on the face in the form of a rectangle in the size of the folded sheet with manuscript "stamp" on all four sides and "No 2" in top left corner; the address panel to "Revd. E. Dillon, Wexford" with the signature of "Aug. Godby" at lower left. The reverse of the wrapper with wax seal bearing the words "not words but deeds" and with the entry number "22107/39".
