Bermuda 1873 Three Pence Provisionals A series of provisional surcharges were prepared on the instructions of the Privy Council. It is believed that the Government Printer, Mr. D. McPhee Lee of the "Royal Gazette" was responsible for the work undertaken "THREE PENCE"in fancy Roman capitals on 1/- Green "three pence" on 1/- green, bright fresh colour, unused without gum, good perforations all round and a fine example of this scarce stamp; also a used example (defects at foot), lightly cancelled.
