Treasury Warrant dated 25th April 1750, adressed to Robert Walpole, 1st Earl of Orford, auditor of the Receipt, authorising the payment of £39631 6s 10 1/2d being the deficiency in the duties on glass and spirits in 1749, signed by Henry Pelham, First Lord of the Treasury 1743 - 1754, George Grenville, Lord of the Treasury, 1747 and later becoming Prime Minister 1763-1765 and Henry Vane, 1st Earl of Darlington, c. 1705 to 1758, entirely manuscript document, torn in half as is usual and rejoined, fine to very fine.
