Chinese Government, 5th Year, 6% Internal loan, a strip of 5 bonds for 1 yuan, issued 1918, no.743618, brown and red with pale blue underprint, text in Chinese with English on the reverse, with coupons, very fine and scarce. The loan was authorised in 1916 (5th Year) but drawings were postponed for 2 1/2 years and these new bonds were issued in replacement of the originals. Estimate £ 60-80
