† Bank Markazi, a group of Specimen 50 Rials (6), ND (1974-79), 000000 serial numbers, comprising signature 14, signature 15, signature 16 (2) with different prefixes, signature 17 and signature 18, all green and multicoloured, Shah Pahlavi at right, reverse tomb of Cyrus the Great, the first two notes in a deeper shade of green and overprinted SPECIMEN in black with two De La Rue Specimen ovals on obverse and reverse, the remainder similarly overprinted in red, two punch holes at centre [Pick 101as, 101bs, 101cs (2), 100ds, 100es], mounting traces, otherwise good extremely fine or better and a scarce fascinating group (6) Estimate £ 200-300
