† Banco Central de Nicaragua, a group of specimens of the Decreto 27. 4. 1972, all Serie C, zero serial numbers, comprising, 5 Cordobas, green, Nicarao at right, 10 Cordobas red, Castro at right, 20 Cordobas, orange-brown, Herrera at right, 50 Cordobas, 2 signatures, purple, Jerez at right, 100 Cordobas (2), 2and 3 signatures, both violet, Estrada at right, and 500 Cordobas, 2 signatures, black, Dario at right, all (except the 10 Cordobas with black overprint), overprinted SPECIMEN in red with two red De La Rue specimen ovals on obverse and reverse, two or three punch holes [Pick 122s, 123s, 124s, 125s, 126as, 126bs (unlisted), 127s], mounting traces at left, otherwise good extremely fine or better, the 10 Cordobas with black overprint and the Pick 126bs both very rare (7) Estimate £ 150-250
