Peru 1859 (5 Jan.) entire letter from Tacna "Via Panama & Inglaterra" to France, bearing 1858 (1 Mar.) 1d. blue with enormous margins and cancelled by single-ring d.s., also tied by Arica British Post Office d.s. (year date not yet changed to 1859) and Calais transit c.d.s. (15.2), showing "gb/2f87 5/10c" Anglo-French accountancy h.s. and 12 decimes due handstamps, all on face, London (15.2) and Paris (16.2) c.d.s. on reverse; attractive and full of character.
