Forwarder Labels Victoria 1855 (17 May) entire "by Burdells Express" to Melbourne, docketed "Eastwood" (by recipient?) and bearing "forwarded by/burdell & co.´s/british & australian/express." black on green label with the design intact (unlike quite a few of the other known examples) affixed at upper right corner; the entire with a repaired tear at top well clear of the label, and with a couple of vertical filing creases, one of which crosses the label, though in remarkably fine condition for this very rare carrier label.
