(4) tied by poor Type D2, showing framed "recommandé" (Type R3; earliest recorded date) with superb Type R2 registration d.s. on face; 1927 (7 Jan.) envelope registered to Penang bearing, on reverse, 1c., 4c. pair and 10c. tied by Type D2 and showing fine R2 registration d.s. on face; 1929 (8 Aug.) 15c. registered envelope to England, uprated 6c. and cancelled by Type D3; and 1940 (Aug.) envelope to Penang, bearing 8c. tied by Type D4 and showing part Economy Label affixed at top.
