Straits Settlements Penang 1924-41 envelopes (7, two incoming) and a card showing a small range of instructional markings including "Despatched by Sea./Dutch Plane failed to call at Alor Star" (Type I 24) on 1931 (10 July) envelope (damaged) from Burkit Mertajam to England, framed "Parti/Gone away" (Type I 25) in violet on 1931 (Mar.) envelope from GB and on 1941 (Feb.) large envelope from USA (earliest and latest recorded dates), framed "Undelivered for reason stated. Return/to sender at address shown on cover" (Type I 40) and framed "late fee paid" (Type I 56) on two 1924 envelopes; condition very mixed though a most interesting lot Estimate S$ 1,000-1,200
