Great Britain 1840 Mulready One Penny Letter Sheets A34, from Bamford to London dated 1840 (15 July), uprated by 1840 1d. black, JC, with good to large margins cancelled by a neat strike of the red Maltese Cross and just tied by a good strike of the Bamford circular town datestamp in red; the side flaps surrounding the address panel re-backed to close periphial tears not affecting the fine appearance of this scarce uprated cover which is sold on it´s merits and is not subject to return.
