L.I.), suspension bar damaged on second, and lacking retaining rod, otherwise very fine or better (5) Estimate £ 60-80 48672 Private Samuel Badley, born Bishop Norton, Lincolnshire; enlisted as 49959 Private, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment; transferred to the Liverpool Regiment, and served with the 13th Battalion, Liverpool Regiment during the Great War; died of wounds on the Western Front, 31.8.1918; and is buried in the Honourable Artillery Company Cemetery, France.
