x New Zealand 1845-66, reverse dated 1863-1864 (G. Young, Sergt. R.M.A., H.M.S. Esk.), lacquered, good very fine Estimate £ 500-600 Approximately 119 New Zealand medals were awarded to H.M.S. Esk, 44 of which are recorded as known in Naval Medals 1857-1880, K. Douglas-Morris. Of this 4 are recorded with undated reverses, the rest are dated 1863-1864.
