Henry VIII, third coinage, 1544-47, Half-Sovereign, 6.14g, Tower, m.m. pellet in annulet, Lombardic lettering both sides, king, bearded and crowned, seated facing on throne flanked by two pillars, rose below, rev. crowned shield supported by lion to left and dragon to right, panel below, annulet on inner circle after rex (cf.
