Rifle Bde.), number additionally and contemporarily engraved, very fine Estimate £ 240-280 Published transcription of roll gives recipient as ´1170 Private Thomas Frewen´; this is, however, at variance with the original roll which gives recipient´s name as it appears on the medal. Entitlement is confirmed.
