Irons, 71st Foot.), toned, minor edge bruising, therefore very fine, with length of original riband Estimate £ 1,200-1,400 Private Thomas Irons, born Dundee, c. 1789; enlisted in the 71st Foot, August 1807; served with the Regiment during the Peninsula War; discharged, November 1814; re-enlisted in the 75th Foot, June 1815; discharged, October 1825, after 17 years and 205 days with the Colours.
