Military General Service 1793-1814, one clasp, Salamanca (Samuel Ward, 11th Light Dragoons.), toned, minor edge bruising, otherwise good very fine Estimate £ 700-800 Private Samuel Ward born Edgerton, Kent; enlisted 11th Light Dragoons, 1812 and ´served three years and eight months in France in the Peninsula, and at the battle of Salamanca, Burgos, Waterloo and at the siege of Bhurtpore and nineteen years in the East Indies.´ (Service Papers refer).
