J. Morgan, 34th Coy. Imp. Yeo.); 1914-15 Star (Lieut. J.G.Y. Delmar-Morgan, R.N.V.R.); British War and Victory Medals (Lt. Commr. J.G.Y. Delmar-Morgan.); Belgium, Kingdom, Order of Leopold, Civil Division, Officer´s breast Badge, 66mm including crown suspension x 40mm, gold and enamel, with rosette on riband, extensive white enamel damage to last, otherwise generally very fine or better, mounted as originally worn (5) Estimate £ 280-320 Major John Godfrey Yule Delmar-Morgan, born 1878; served with the 34th (Middlesex) Company 11th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry during the Boer War and was wounded in action near Harrismith, 19.11.1900; with the outbreak of the Great War he was commissioned Temporary Lieutenant, R.N.V.R., 5.9.1914; served in H.M.S. Undaunted (light cruiser), from 25.7.1915; borne as an Additional H.M.S. President, 13.11.1916, ´for service at the London Hqrs of Russian Armoured Car Squadron; advanced Lieutenant-Commander, 31.10.1917; transferred as Captain (Honorary Major) Royal Air Force, 19.9.1918; discharged 21.1.1919.
