Royal National Lifeboat Institution Medal, silver, type 2 1862-1903, obverse: head of Queen Victoria with chaple of oak leaves facing left (William Crawford Esq. Voted 9th November 1893), engraved in mixed styles, good very fine, with uniface ´dolphin´ suspension Estimate £ 400-500 William Crawford, Honorary Secretary, Margate R.N.L.I., citation reads, ´Awarded on his retirement from the post of Honorary Secretary having held that office for many years and, previously, a member of the local committee.
