Bank of Honan Province, Qing Dynasty $1 (1908), ´Shi´ prefix, number 100, blue and black obverse with ornate dragons and a central vignette printed ´One Yuan´. Prefix on right and date on left. Various red chop marks. The reverse shows Chinese text within a yellow frame. The large stamp shows that this note is an issued example. It is also interesting to note that the printed date on the reverse is 1904, whilst the issued date is 1908. The reason for this is unknown. Unique and original, the paper still retaining body, good very fine and an important rarity Estimate HK$ 200,000-300,000
