Great Britain Postal History 1821, entire letter from Trinidad to Dumfries, endorsed "1 3/4oz.", rated "9/11 1/2" (crossed through) redirected on arrival to Edinburgh and rated "15/2 1/2", with boxed "greenock ship letter", scarce red "(Crown)/G.R.", on reverse framed "castle douglas 359-d" mileage marking and other datestamps; a few small perimeter faults but a scarce and very highly rated letter.
