Cameroons French Campaign 1914 - 1918 Military Mail 1915 German Kamerun 5pf. stationery card to Caen, marked across stamp impression "Franchise de Guerre, Corps expedn du Cameroun, Ngaoundere 29 Juin" and showing "yola. northern nigeria" double-ring transit datestamp (19.7). Photo Estimate £ 200-250 Note: The Allied Column, which included French troops, captured Ngaoundere on 28th June 1915. Although the postcard was endorsed on 29th June 1915, the postcard was not written until 4th July. The Column was in the north of Kamerun, hence the route to France via Yola, Northern Nigeria, on the Benue River.
