Cameroons British Campaign 1914 - 1918 Censored Mail 1915 (1 Mar.) envelope (202134mm.; opened-out and with central vertical crease) registered from Philadelphia to Kelat, Cameroon, bearing US 1913-15 Panama-Pacific Exhibition 1c. to 10c. and 1914 50c., showing registration h.s., two different "a.r." handstamps, a fine strike of "Passed by Censor" h.s. in violet (Martin and Walton Type 2) and, on reverse, despatch, New York (6.10), Liverpool (18.10) and Duala (10.11) datestamps , the envelope also with four German Telegraph seals at right (three split in half through opening) with the complete example crossed by manuscript "Opened/by/Censor". The cover was undelivered and returned to Philadelphia on March 1st 1916. A colourful franking and the only recorded example of the Censor handstamp. Photo Estimate £ 300-400
